Requirement

A service description shall include information on the lifecycle stage that the service is currently in and, if applicable, qualifying dates.

Rationale

This requirement ensures that the service consumer can assess the lifecycle stage and make a decision on whether to use the service.

Examples/Notes

Example lifecycle stages include Operational, Prospective and Retired.
Examples:

  • Operational since 2020-04-07
  • Prospective until 2020-04-07
