Working towards the next version of the SWIM Supporting Material
The general requirements can be seen in two broad groups.
The first group can be regarded as requiring "metadata" about the information definition itself. The requirements allow a user to:
- identify an information definition by using, for example, the edition and reference date
- identify the responsible party
- decide on whether a particular information definition meets the needs of the user
The second group promotes the overall quality of the information definition by placing specific requirements on its concepts.
