1. A target report resulting from the correlation, by a special algorithm (tracking) of a succession of radar reported positions for one aircraft. The report normally contains smoothed position and speed vector information.
2. The locus of positions grouped over time which defines the path of an aircraft in flight as referenced to a desired coordinate system (e.g., slant range (range, azimuth), geographical or Cartesian (range-x, range-y, range-z)).
