Abbreviation

Definition

Degraded weather condition: a condition which might have a significant negative impact on airport performance unless a proper response is organized (i.e. the selection of an airport operating mode to respond to given degraded conditions and eventually the use of additional airport resources such as de-icing/anti-icing services). This would be the case when visibility is poor and/or in case of freezing conditions, precipitations, etc.
