Eurocontrol eASM Extension

Last modified by EDUARD POROSNICU on 2015/03/25 08:07

In order to ensure the interoperability between software tools used as part of the dynamic airspace management process, an Electronic Airspace Management (eASM) Specification has been developed by Eurocontrol. The objective of the eASM Specification is to provide a common data model and a common data encoding format for dynamic airspace management applications in the Flexible Use of Airspace (FUA) context.

This extension includes elements of the Eurocontrol "Airspace Data Repository" (ADR), used by the NM B2B services.

Development status

An initial version was released in 2010 and it was partially implemented in local ASM tools (such as the LARA project of Eurocontrol) and for the NM/B2B Airspace and AUP Services. An updated version is now made available for stakeholder review, including support for the latest requirements introduced by the new AUP/UUP template and taking into consideration the evolution of the NM/B2B Airspace service.
