ENAIRE, the Spanish AIS Provider, is currently publishing a number of data elements as Data Sets in its AIP, accessible on ENAIRE AIP website for consultation and download.

The data sets are provided in different formats:

  • CSV format, resembling the AIP section tables.
  • AIXM5.1 format, as complete data sets provided by amendment, and not linked to specific AIP sections.
  • GeoTiff, for terrain data (currently by request)


Each dataset includes a metadata file with additional information about the data contents.


1.- CSV Data Sets:

As October 2022, the following AIP sections are presented also as Data Sets in CSV format:

  • GEN 2.5
  • GEN 2.7 (TXT file)
  • ENR 3
  • ENR 4.1
  • ENR 4
  • ENR 4.5
  • ENR 5.4
  • ENR 5.7
  • AD 10

 

2.- AIXM5.1 Data Sets:

As October 2022, the following Complete Datasets are provided in AIXM5.1 format (see AIP Spain AIXM5.1 Data Sets for data in force):

  • Obstacle data sets:
    • Area 1 Obstacles
    • Areas 2,3 and 4 Obstacles for each aerodrome/heliport


  • AIP data set:
    • Airspace
    • En-route
    • Restricted aerodromes/heliports
    • Temporal aerodromes/heliports

 Data sets in force can be downloaded on AIP Spain AIXM5.1 Data Sets. Data coming from AIRAC amendments can be found in the Amendments section. Additionally, a Check list and details about use and limitations on the data sets are provided.
