Regulations:

• Commission Implementing Regulation No 2023/1770 of 12 September 2023 covering provisions on aircraft equipment required for the use of the Single European Sky airspace and operating rules related to the use of the Single European Sky (for datalink the information is mainly included in Annex I).
• Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/2012 of 29 November 2019 setting out granted exemptions to the Implementing Regulation.
• EASA Certification Specifications and Acceptable Means of Compliance for Airborne Communications, Navigation and Surveillance (CS-ACNS) is the principal regulatory specification for the airborne side enacted by the Implementing Rule itself.
• ICAO Doc 9705 Manual of Technical Provisions for the Aeronautical Telecommunications Network (ATN) - Ed 2 and other relevant ATN/OSI material are referenced by the baseline for B1 (EUROCAE ED-110B) which is in turn referenced by the EASA CS-ACNS.
• Specification of PM-CPDLC for B1 The specification of CPDLC in Doc 9705 Ed2 was extensively modified by PDR M6050001 to introduce the additional integrity check formerly known as PM-CPDLC. The PDR is reproduced in ED-110.
• ICAO EUR Doc 028 is the definitive reference for ground ATC facility addresses to be implemented by avionic vendors in their databases.
